digress:<\/b> i love my maid. simply cos she’s not afraid of all the bugs dat come into my hse. was juz typin this when this bloody cockroach was tryin to crawl onto my leg!! bloody shit, din even knoe dat creeper was in the room! i jusz screamed and called her to come catch. bloody bugger has been thrown out of the window. dat’s it, i’m gonna close my windows now. <\/p>\n
ook so fri was my last day of work. i felt kinda sad tho. 3 short months, but great relationships and great ppl. but i was kinda busy tho, so no time to start cryin or smthin. had to pack all my stuff. goodness din knoe i brought so many things within 3 mths! my posters\/postcards, hp holder, my mocha, and a lot of other chapalang lah. i went back with 2 big bags haha. yar den aso had to mk sure dat i completed all my work. those dat i canot complete, i muz let the person knoe where i stop and wat i did so far. those dat i complete muz pack properly and tell the person aso so they knoe where to find next time.<\/p>\n
last min realised my GST hvn’t finished so had to call up the cute mat from 3rd floor to help me. he asked if i was free for lunch, and i asked if he was treatin. he say no prob. wah so shuang kuai, how can i refuse rite? somemore offered by cute guy haha. i told him i will come back next wk to claim my free treat becos my manager asked me in the morning to go for lunch at Swensen’s!! dunno why aso. i mean the wk b4 i went for my farewell lunch with almost the whole dept liaoz mah. my manager was there aso, dunno why she wanted to treat me again. muz be cos i jokingly mentioned swensen’s the wk b4. i suspect dat was it, but i reallie din mean it!! i even told her nvm, she had lunch with me the previous wk but she insisted. so got free lunch lor, but the dessert so unsatisfying! cos we both ordered set lunch, and the dessert was one scoop of coffee ice cream onlI! i din dare order the other kinds cos she was kinda in a hurry to go back office and i aso paiseh lor.<\/p>\n
yups so last min had to do AR cos i missed out one account, and had to do the final GST checks. den clear all the papers dat i din need and had to shred. so many papers to shred! all the budget stuff. wah rush until nearly got headache. den had to email all the other ppl dat i knew in other depts to bid them farewell.<\/p>\n
hai was feelin veri unsatisfied cos it was alrdy my last day but i still dunno the cute AM guy’s name!! jo’s computer got prob, so alvin had to keep comin over the fix it. i kept askin jo to ask alvin who dat guy is, but she forgot. in the end, veron juz picked up the fone, called KL and asked her. haha and i got my name!! and realised to my horror dat he is aso an intern from Germany! oh man. so i kept thinkin whether i shld talk to him anot. i mean, wat the hell rite? last day alrdy, wun see him anymore, juz sia suay myself aso nvm haha. but i juz couldn’t bring myself to do it, and there was juz no chance!! <\/p>\n
by the time i cleared all my stuff and was ready, it was abt 6pm liaoz i think. we were so late for the wine-tasting!! but it was kinda disappointin tho. cos i was expectin them to invite ppl to talk abt the diff wines, how to drink, how to appreciate, which wine goes betta with wat food etc. but dun hv!!! the wines juz all on the table and u juz drink wat u want and how much u want. i drank white wine from Chile and Argentina. the Chile one was a 2001 Chardonnay and the Argentina one was a 2003 Chardonnay. i hated the Argentinean one. sux. the Chile one wasn’t so bad. drank another white wine from Australia i think, but dunno the name. not bad aso. drank sparkling champagne!! my favourite!! hm not reallie, tihnk my fav is still dessert wine. i love the dessert wine, but i dunno where it’s from. wasted. but defn it was nicer den the one i drank at the Explanade durin the Arts Fest thingy. so aft abt 4 glasses of wine, i was red in the face. <\/p>\n
happened to meet the HR woman, who asked how come i din ask cute AM guy to come for the session. i told her i was too shy to talk to him. haha so somehow or other, i got her to go upstairs with me and intro me to him!! which she gamely agreed. so yes, there i was, alone in the office with him, with his beautiful clear grey eyes focused only on me and i can’t believe wat was happening. haha. we went down to the wine tastin together aft dat, man dat was totally like a dream come true. shall not go into details haha. it was juz a different experience to be there with him, smthin i haven’t experienced b4. :blush1 aniwaes he and his frens love wine too. shoot when i met his frens, i realised the ‘connection’ i had with the 2 of them! 1 of them was the other Ashton-Kutcher lookalike whom i thought was quite cute aso. he’s in my grp for the intern gathering!! shoot. and his other fren, was so gentlemanly!!! hm actualli he himself aso quite gentlemanly lah. open the door wide, and let me step thru first. ooh man i’m such a sucker for guys lydat.<\/p>\n
anwieas yea we exchanged hp nos and emails. i was supposed to go home, but in the end, spent the next 2 hrs chattin to my 2 other colleagues upstairs at our office.<\/p>\n
first time i saw the balcony at nite. breathtaking view. i was totally blow away. 15 floors up, with a clear view all the way to Raffles Place\/National Stadium\/East Coast Park. the lights of the city all glittering in the distance, the cars passing by on the PIE 15 floors down, and the wind in your hair. amazing. <\/p>\n
so i reached home totally shagged at like 11 or so? reallie fantastic nite, like a scene str out of Cinderella or smthin haha. reallie couldn’t believe everything dat had taken place the whole day. it was realli smthin to rem, esp since it was my last day. luckily no chance to cry if not i sure cry and my colleague aso will join me haha. plannin to go back and see them. hopefully aft my comm svc carnival. and defn b4 end aug so i can see cute AM guy b4 he leaves!! :beam1<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
