okie so why was last wk Hell Week?!

cos i had THREE TESTS and ONE PROJECT DUE!!! wth, can die lor. :psycho1

Mon was Test#1, Finance lah. luckily i passed it, so not so bad. and the lesson ended earli but i had fnce meetin aft dat.

Tues was Test#2, AIS. passed it lah, average marks but a couple of pts worse den the last time. bleah. my fault lah. nv study properly, studied too late the nite b4 and nothin got into my head lor. but nvm lah.

aft dat went to ven’s cousin’s in serangoon to do the AIS proj lor. cos her cousin is very good at designing and graphics and the like. we did until like at nite? 8+ or so. hai. i fell aslp, and played with her cousin’s 3 yr old daughter. haha aiya i cant resist little kids. felt like i din reallie do much work, but bo bian lah, not dat i din wanna do. juz dat i was in charge of the crapping part, ie crappin the content for the webbie lor. ven was in charge of the webbie design cos usin FP mah. den she took it upon herself to go and learn FP from scratch and perfect the whole thingy. so i can onli help by giving comments lor. but canot do FP cos all the stuff was saved in her lappie. ya went home damn shagged. but still had to crap the narrative. do until like 1+am or so? :err1

Wed got audit. *bish* same thing lor, he assigned ppl to ans certain qns. bleah. but luckily i can answer lah, so not so bad, and i tried to ans b4 he called me lor. he gave back the audit midterm. would ya believe it?! i passed the bloody thing!! and not juz passed but A+!! dats the grade. for marks-wise, i got higher den the marks allocated for the test, cos i got bonus marks. haha i aso dunno why and for wat. but he said he was lenient this time, and wun be lenient for the finals. bleah. hai. but nvm. at least this made up for the failure in the other 5% part of my grade. but a lot of ppl got quite good grades lah, all betwn A- to A+ so no big shit lor.

aft audit, stayed back to do AIS lor. the database (DBA) ppl polished up their DBA, while i edited the narrative again cos ven made changes to the webbie on tues nite. den last min she made sm more changes again. den hv to show every1 the narrative to mk sure it’s okie. i din get to see the DBA tho, think muz ask them to show us both before the presentation date. sooooo we had to wait for pictures from ven’s cousin. which took like so long? i aso dunno wat we did lor..juz made other changes, mk it look the best we could. do until 9+pm at nite? but it still wasn’t completed cos her cousin hadn’t sent her the pics. so YT was supposed to burn the stuff and hand to mitch, so in the end we decided to juz go home and ven will email the webbie to YT later asap lor. ya poor gal worked until like 3+am to finish and perfect the webbie. hai reallie felt guilty dat i din anythin, and the webbie reallie looks damn cool now lor. realli came a long way since the very white blank lookin one dat we had at the beginning. :beam1

anyway FRONTPAGE sux!! seriously!!! it has lots of bugs, alwayz canot save properly, save alrdy things dun show up, suddenly canot edit this pg etc. LOUSY!!

yar so luckily YT managed to hand in on time. Sean’s grp was late lor. felt so bad and worried cos we thought dat 40% of their grade will be deducted. and i reallie felt so thankful dat i was workin with the grp dat i worked with, and reallie felt so thankful dat i was workin with YT. she’s like so responsible, u knoe she wun let u down dat kinda thing. luckily she handed up on time. (ok she actualli handed in the wrong CD lah!! i din knoe until jon told me. but ya luckily she found out in time lah) but ya lor felt so grateful dat aft i hung up on my fone call with sean, i msged YT to tell her dat i loved her, at like 1.30am! haha. :heart1

hm past wk has been quite uneventful. i guess.

monday and tues got proj meetin lor. plus rotaract aso. sianz.

oh yar mon nite went to eat sakae sushi :beam1 very good service at the funan outlet. i’m quite surprised cos it’s the first time i’ve received gd svc from sakae. but i think the teppanyaki part is a bit redundant. tks up extra space and increase rental costs onli.

oh think i shld wear contacts more often? haha mark couldnt recognise me. i shld go for lasik!! do away with specs+contacts. haha.

aniweas yar quite lost with all my projs. dunno wat’s goin on. esp for AIS. damn screwed up and it’s like due at the end of the mth.

rotaract sponsorship is not goin very well either. sianz. who has sponsorship lobang? i need help desperately leh.

spent the rest of the wk muggin for the income tax test. damn i juz hope to pass lor. hai. my company tax com and CA sux big time. the personal tax com was a breeze tho, even tho i calculated my ECR wrongly. grrr.

went to study again today. not reallie studyin cos nxt wk no tests (Thank the heavens!!) but got AIS hw to do. damn bloody sianz. spent the whole day tryin to do a REA diagram and do up the excel relations file and create a database. DO WHOLE DAY evening den i managed to start on the database. so sianz. dun do liaoz. shite man, last nite dreamt dat i went for AIS lesson totally unprepared and i was so scared mitch was gonna call me to ans the qn like last time. so must finish my database. tmrw. dun feel like doin now liaoz. sianz ji pua.

yar but today quite slack lah. haha. spent an hr at lunch. and like abt 2 hrs hangin out with liwei and jeffrey and shiuan and goin to thomson plaza. gosh the popular sux. dun hv the lappie cover dat i want. but at least i got my book. luckily. but wasted my time onli lor.

sianz u knoe. nxt wk supposed to be a happy happy week for me cos my bday comiN!! but i think it’s gonna be screwed up cos i’m gonna get all my midterms back. mon fnce, wed audit, fri tax. sux big time.

now got fnce and tax proj to do. hai. double the screwed-up-ness. feel like slpin now. but i betta faster do. and go tk medicine and sleep!!

in other news, i shld hv bought Arsenal to draw with Bolton. veri good returns. starin at the screen, amazed at at low the odds for Arsenal to win was, and thinkin heck, with the lousy CLeague match they played durin midwk, they may not do so well today, so draw is best bet. but…i dun bet anymore. so i din buy.

saw LC at the busstop today!! well not exactly lah. they were abt to cross the road, but hv to wait for the traffic light to turn. but b4 it could, my bus came. was debating whether to skip this bus and wait for the nxt, but heck lah, wait aso no use, not gonna be talkin much to LC anwieas, so might as well juz leave first. so…left first and met the cute mat from my office at the other busstop where i had to switch buses. haha he looks betta and betta each time i see him! :yum1 yes so we were juz flirting with each other. haha so give up LC for flirting+cute, the OC was worth it rite?

ooh suddenly cravin for dory fish/calamari olio(sp??). *yum* jiji was eatin dory olio today lor. so yummy. but i aso cravin for calamari. which one shld i eat? can combine both? muz ask the auntie. hehe nvm watever it is, i shall eat olio for lunch on fri!! ;grin1

hai yesterday’s FNCE quiz was screwed up lor. so theoretical, dunno wat IRR/NPV/PI characteristics, i nv study until lydat lor. sure fail 1. hai. luckily last wk’s one not so bad. din expect to do well cos few qns tikam cos my ans like not the same as the mcq ones. skali got 9. stupid adrian got 10 lor. sianz. bugger studied last min and came with onli like minimal formulae and still do so well. argh cant stand smart ppl. hai. if yesterday’s quiz sux, means 1 buffer left onli. and i plannin to not study for nxt wk’s one cos got 3 chpts and got AIS test the next day so i wld rather give up FNCE den AIS since FNCE i hv abt 6 more chances, but AIS only 1 more chance. if i give up next wk’s one, means my 2 buffers gone!!! means remainin quizzes muz score well!! sianz.

hm the FNCE proj so far so gd. the other 2 ppl seems to be doin their work. hope it continues. the china guy seems quite nice tho, but so quiet. and i tink i saw him today but i din recognise him. dat’s the prob with workin with ppl u dunno at all and nv seen him b4. yesterday was like the 1st time i saw him lor.

wahlau AIS today ProfM took my data flow diag (DFD) and show the whole class lor. it was a hw qn, den he arrowed Jon for context diag. den aft dat got Lvl 0 and Lvl 1, and er i actualli thought of volunteering my work. i mean, i knoe my DFD was totally screwed up cos i spent onlik like 15 mins doin it and i’m so illogical. but i tot it would be quite good mah, u paiseh urself nvm, at least he can correct the diag and i knoe my mistakes. but er din dare to raise up my hands. skali ppl think why this gal DFD so sucky still so enthu to show off her work? haha but swaysway he picked me lor. 4 other chio bu in the back row he dun choose, choose me. muz be cos i’m the ugliest. but nvm lah. at least he’s not the kind of prof who, when u make mistakes, grill u like crazy or scold u or suan u or smthin. he was quite encouragin. so aniweas it’s good lah, at least i see my mistakes. i wld nv hv known wat was wrong if it wasn’t shown. think nxt time i shld volunteer my work ya? even if it sux. hai. wish Uwe was around. think he can teach me DFDs since i think he was doin dat previously. bugger is hvin holiday in Vietnam/Cambodia now lor. argh. why don’t i hv a bf who’s an expert in IT/IT-related stuff?

6th Sept Mon
was prepared for another FNCE quiz. took out calculator and formulae liaoz. den ProfLP started teachin. so we all very happy dat got no quiz. den he teachteachteach and say okie now 30mins break, come back on time cos got quiz aft break. wahlau. bluff my feelins onli. left one qn blank. wanted to tikam tikam but dunno why he was so strict abt puttin pens down dat day, so bo bian nv write anythin cos scared later kena caught get 0 instead. swaysway had another 2 members join my FNCE grp. shit. i din want extra ppl but no choice, canot reject. told me the story abt how got no grp cos previous grp got enuf ppl etc. felt cheated cos later on when the TA sent out the groupings, their original grp got enuf space for them wat. hai. nvm lah. work with new and diff ppl lor. i’m onli worried dat they, or one of them, wldn’t do the work lor.

got back stupid audit test. ‘nuf said. had AIS proj meetin. Jon did not live up to my previous impressions of him. not dat it’s bad lah. just surprising. aniweas settled the admin stuff fast. wanted to work on the website, but was quite pissed when i realised dat ProfM insist dat we muz use FrontPage for it. bleargh. dun like FrontPage and dun hv FrontPage.

Audit proj meetin. i like my grp even tho i dunno them. they’re quite fun, and smart. 2 in Yr3, 1 in dean’s list, the other double degree. hm 7 of us, 3 gals, 4 guys. out of the 4 guys, 3 are cute! haha i raellie shld be studyin. yea very worried abt the presentation lor. scared later dun present properly, marks drop. later dun present properly, ppl shoot qns, i canot ans, marks drop some more. marks drop anymore and my audit will fail lor. sianz.

was prepared for another FNCE quiz, but surprisingly he din give. hehe spent the whole lesson punching numbers on the financial calculator. damn fun. haha. FNCE is chim but interesting, so even tho i tk super long to understand wat i’m studyin, it doesn’t matter cos i like it. aniweas FNCE class has abt 2 cute guys? haha 1 is ven’s fren, who kinda reminds me of jx tho haha. but not bad lah. another sits beside me, took poor ven’s place cos he came in earli and i came in later and couldn’t chope an extra seat for her. this one isn’t cute, but there’s smthin abt him. oh there’s another 1 who looks like wx, but not as cute as wx haha.

spent the whole AIS lesson stuck behind the PC chattin haha. so still dunno wat is goin on. but the polo guys are in my class!! woohoo! eye candy. 2 from my biz law class previously. they hv another 2 frens with them. dunno whether they’re polo anot. 1 looks like wai’s bf haha. the other 1 is damn cute lor. but got attitude problem. dun like the way he speaks up in class. so fake accent, and like tryin to act like mr know-it-all.

oh was sittin at the busstop waitin for my bus aft sch, when this ang moh lady came and ask me wat bus goes to the metro. i stupidly asked her, “which one u wanna go to?” i forgot dat metro marina closed, and metro tampines was too far. she said, does it mk a diff? den i said, “nono, nvm 171 goes to metro orchard.” so she said ok. 170 came and she asked the same qn again. i answered in the negative. 171 came and we boarded. i tried to tell the uncle to tell her to stop at paragon cos i would be stoppin at far east and can’t direct her. i asked if she wanted to go shoppin, and i told her muz go Paragon cos dat’s where the Metro is. she got confused. dat’s when i started to hv a sneakin suspicion dat she might be talkin abt the MRT instead!! cos they all call in the metro in their own cty rite? so i asked, do u wanna go to the MRT? she got confused, din understand me. den i tried to ask, “where do you want to go?” she said, “i want to go metro, den go home.” so i asked, “where is home?” she said boon lay. dat’s when i realised dat okie, it muz be the MRT she’s talkin abt. so in the end, i alighted with her at newton, even tho i could go all the way to far east. scared to abandon her lydat leh, skali she get lost. den since help her halfway liaoz, might as well go all the way. on the way to the MRT, i asked whether she’s here on holiday and where is she from? she said she’s from Ukraine. cool. but communication was reallie a problem tho. i asked where she and her husband is stayin, she said on a ship!! she said she onli graduated from institute last yr, so i asked how old she is. she said 23. and she’s married?! aniwaes she said she wanted to go shoppin, wanted to buy watch. so i told her to go orchard instead. shucks man, if she had said earlier, den i din hv to waste my transport fare tkin bus+mrt when can juz tk bus all the way to orchard. she asked abt chinatown and clarke quay/boat quay, and it was damn funny the way i had to explain to her, “boat quay dancing, drinking. day time not open. only at nite.” so i directed her to orchard, in the general direction of wisma and went on my way. hope she got watever she wanted and din get lost.

free day and no need go back sch! *yay* went back to my old office. missed the ppl, and aniweas wanted to see cute AM guy b4 he leaves. haha. aniwaes yar felt so good to see everyone again. unless they’re academy award winnin actresses, they aso look happy to see me. hehe miss my old place. asked them got work to do anot. haha jf was so shocked when i said i could shred papers. cos b4 i left, i had a lot of papers to shred but din hv time, so i left them with her. so since i free and nothin to do, thought i could shred. but shred abit onli the machine full liaoz, so hv to stop. lousy machine! haha so went for lunch with them. aft lunch was abt to go look for the cute mat downstairs when cute AM guy came back, so i ended up talkin to him for more den an hr. wah lovelovelove his eyes man. :heart1 yea like talkin to him. very easy conversation, talkin abt anythin and everythin. quite surprised when he aniwaes revealed dat he din wanna go holiday with Matthias cos i thought they were both good frens. aniweas he had to get back to work and i had to leave, so dat was it. last time i wld ever see him. haha. yups but will go back office again when i free. man why dun they ever offer me a parttime job?

finally! 1 whole wkend juz for slacking.

like seriously screwed up lor. 3/10. how bad is dat? totally ruined my mood on wed. felt so damn upset i wanted to cry. so scary cos i mean i’ve failed FA and MA b4 mah, and upset is upset lah, but i wun like want to cry or anythin. but it totally floored me. i din even felt like talkin.

worst thing was everyone else did betta den me and i so did NOT expect to fail. i mean okie i was bitchin abt it the nite b4, but aft sittin thru the MCQ paper, i tot it wasn’t dat bad. expected to at least pass. shit. even if it’s onli 5%. and it’s like a freakin MCQ lor. how can any1 fail an MCQ??!!

so aft lookin thru the paper again, some qns i circled the right ans but thought too much and changed it. some qns i guess i reallie din understand wat i studied well enuf. shit. even if it’s onli 5% and the other 5% i’ve secured an A+ for, still cant stand the fact dat every1 is gonna score betta for this 5% den me.

and the next is the midterm, which is a freaking 15%!! i’m startin to understand audit betta, but still not well enuf. i mean, okie even if i dun do as well as others, i want at least to not juz pass, but betta den a pass. B grade at least. shit. still got presentation in 2 wks. dunno how. so scared later ppl ask qns i canot ans. or i nv present properly. or wat. nv felt so kan cheong abt a presentation b4, even if it’s 2 wks away!!

i dunno why i’m lettin this one failure gettin to me. prolly cos i reallie din expect it, and i reallie want to do much betta this term. i dun dare to hope but i want to try for dean’s list! can 1, sure can get there, eventually. but i hv to get pass audit first. *sigh*

okie 3 wks of sch hv passed!! so 12 more to go? cant wait for it to pass.

damn tired cos din hv enuf slp aft comin back from BKK the nite b4. Finance (FNCE) prof ProfLP nv talk abt himself, juz str away start teaching. wah his Chi accent reallie CMI. reallie hv to strain to understand him. but he’s quite cute in a way tho haha. went to TP gym and met Rach! so surprising, hvn’t seen her for so long, and the gym is the most unlikeliest of places to meet her. ended up sittin there and talkin aft our workout.

17th Aug Tue
Accounting Information Systems (AIS)! like wat the heck issit? ProfM spent the first half of the lesson talkin cock lor. he suan the ppl who came in late, tellin them dat they were in the wrong class, and when they said they saw their frens there, he was like, “u sure they’re ur frens?” den he asked the guys wat did they do in NS? he said the navy guys hv water-logged brains, too much salt water inside. the medics hv to save his life in the event he gets a heart attack. he said the logistics ppl sux cos events dat were supposed to start at 0600hr started at 1000hr instead. he only supports infantry? or wassit artillery? one of those cos he served in the army. think it was Australian army. He asked who supported MUFC and when ppl raised their hands, he said those immediately get a D. Liverpool supporters get A. he said we betta not wear MUFC clothes into class or we will get it. he suaned his mother as welL!! he said,”u knoe abt earthquakes? the tectonic plates moving and all? dat’s not true. it’s just my mother gettin out of bed. and u knoe the big bang theory abt how all the dinosaurs became extinct? it’s juz dat my mother got pissed with them and started moving around.” gosh. he looks reallie young and cute. but he’s married! for 7 yrs to a Chinese Singaporean tho he’s Australian. but they hv no kids. he says dat “kids are those u stuff in the fridge and kick them out when they’re 18”. he said he’s perfectly happy with his life and wife now. they dun need kids cos she’s his big baby and he loves her so much and dat’s all they need. owww so sweet rite? aniweas 2nd half of the lesson he started teachin. he drew 1 circle and put FA. drew another circle and put MA. i took out my foolscap and pencil to get ready to tk notes. den he said “Audit and Tax” and at the same time drew a nose and a mouth, and completed the face by drawin a big circle around all the features. i was like, wat the hell? in the end nothin to copy at all.

Audit & Assurance. dunno wat the hell ProfJ is talkin abt aso. everything he says is relevant and mks sense, and i agree with everythin, and i dunno wat notes i shld tk.

19th Aug Thur
first free day of the first wk of sch and i had to go back to sch to do publicity for Leap of Life. bleargh. LoL is this campaign to create awareness abt organ donation. in the evenin, went to Outram for the orientation talk abt LoL. first time i’ve climbed up the same flight of steps at SGH since 14th Feb this yr. couldn’t recognise the Blk 4 lobby cos there wasn’t anymore cumbersome fever scanner and irritatin front desk. it looks so empty now. aniweas the talk was very informative, but the refreshments could be improved!!

20th Aug Fri
Income Tax & GST. ProfC was damn funny lor. he talked so fast, dat by the time 1hr passed, he oreadi finished his slides!! he gave us half an hr break, came back and talked some more crap abt one last slide dat he created durin the break, and let us off almost an hr earlier. BUT i had to stay back for some more LoL publicity stuff. *bish* stayed in sch till lik 9pm? wah so unhealthy cos had pizza for dinner!! it was like buy 1 get 1 free. tot there would be abt 4-5 of us eatin but in the end left 2 of us only. so i ate like mad lor. had to call other ppl to come help out. so horribly shagged at the end of the day.
