Gosh i can’t believe a week has flown by!! okie muz record detail for detail k..so this post will be super long!

12pm: My apptmt with the hairdresser. I was supposed to have soft curls..but sadly, i made the stupid mistk of cutting my hair on Thurs. so my hair is tooooo short :pout1 so aft he curled my hair for me, i looked hideous! it’s like damn funny lah i was so shocked to see myself. I had like a few pimples on my face tt were very obvious, so if u painted those pimples black, put me in a cheongsum, i would look like some Shanghai Tang mamasan or smthN! so ugly! sigh. so much for havin curls. i think me and curls dun go together man. even during prom aso, u can’t really tell tt i did smthn to my hair lor.
1.30pm: Lunch
3pm: Prep last min stuff
3.30pm: War painting time! just sit there and let me sis work on my face..machiam like i’m a piece of drawing paper. i hate makeup.
4.30pm: Time to leave! Kan cheong moment when the cake delivery guy called and asked me whether i was at suntec alrdy! harlow i said aft 5pm leh!!
4.55pm: was attempting to wait till 5pm before we enter the carpark in the hope tt there was some “per entry aft 5pm” thingy.
5.15pm: here here here!! checkin out the place. there was a function in the aftnn, and they haven’t cleared yet! kan cheong kan cheong! the waiter starts to chase the ppl out!
5.30pm: Cake delivery guy arrives! he’s the same dude who delivered our brownies to P** durin the summer hols! haha. i was initially unhappy with my cake. didn’t like the fact tt the pic was at the bottom right leh..looks weird, and not right. i expected it to be in the middle or smthm. and i didn’t expect the pic to be so small. the woman told me tt there was only be a very small border! grrrr. called the woman up and mk noise. den decided to call mum and sis to see but they were ok with it. so we decided tt we shld just leave it cos if the guy tk it back, they re-do for me and rush it back to me, it may juz look even worse! so we accepted it.
5.45pm: went to meet hy and waited for ven.
6pm: mum+sis already started on pumping the balloons. the girls helped me to put them up and basically decide where to put them. i was running around tryin to place all my stuff properly – like autograph bk+pens on the table outside; cds on the table; all other chapalang dump into the secret cupboard.
6.30pm: my da yi arrives and her husband my uncle help my frens to put up the balloons.
7.05pm: my P** colleagues arrive!! omg they were like so earli lah! i was so unprepared can!! like who arrives on time?! haha all my frens were late can!! tried to entertain them, abit awkward lah..but i was called away cos my uni mates arrived.
somewhere betwn 7.15pm-7.30pm: darrell and jx arrive. i know i was prolly hugging amanda at around this time cos in my pics, i could see darrell in the background haha. i rem shiuan, ting and zh came b4 amanda did tho.
7.30pm: my lower sec frens came. waiting for my uncle and his family to arrive. was wonderin whether i shld wait for them to come b4 i start the dinner.
somewhere aft 7.30pm: jc babes arrive.
7.40pm: decided to juz go ahead. i think every1 was darn hungry
lah! felt quite bad tho.
8pm: upper sec arrive! haha darn funny i know i said, “who are you?!” when i saw them. cos i reallie reallie reallie didn’t recognize them leh!! haha den they looked up and we started laughing like siao char bo again! haha. put them with my P** colleages cos still got seats left at tt table.

okie aft tt i cant rem liao! cos so many ppl came in at different times aft tt! i know the jc ppl streamed in randomly, and i showed them in and they basically squeezed at one table haha.

9+pm: went around taking fotos cos dear damon my jie mei volunteered to be my photog for the nite! waitin aso for dillon to arrive so can cut cake!!

sadly, i regretted tt i took too long to cut the cake tt nite. cos my P** colleagues and my cousin had to leave :sad1

10pm: cut cake! my smu mates got kq to sing for me haha. so sweet of him lah. went up and sang in front of so many ppl in english and mandarin. really appreciated it. and more pic taking!

aft tt, ppl juz basically left one by one liaoz loh. i rem tt lynz, mag and my smu mates were left. i know they were waitin for me to go over and talk cock but sean said cos my parents looked like they wanted to go home, so they all decided to leave. :sad1 so sad! thought mebbe could stay longer.

i was runnin around like a headless chicken the whole nite tryin to talk to everyone and anyone. midway thru, i will alwayz get interrupted cos of new guests arriving. dats why i didn’t eat anythin tt nite lah. too ma fan. so when ppl say the food was good, or mentioned smthn abt the food, i alwayz dunno cos i nv eat :pout1 i rem rz arriving at 8pm cos i think he was the latest? haha. i didn’t reallie interact with my family at all!! oopsie issit rude huh? like my zhang bei but i nv talk to them??

nv talked much to my P** colleagues aso, so felt superly bad. but it’s like..when i try to talk, it’s hard! don’t ask me why lah. juz difficult.

nv talked to my uni gang no2 at all! my uni mates were split into 2 tables, and i didn’t stop at the last table at all! cos er no empty chairs? den abit hard to juz go over? haha and anw they pretty much self-entertained lah, courtesy of renny the hunk.

nv talked much to my jc class too. this one cos i think they realli can self-entertain? i felt kinda glad tt everyone was forced to sit together at one table aft so long, and yet still didn’t get into any fights.

lower sec! haha stopped by a few times, initially cos they like so quiet lydat..and i missed them a lot. and later on cos rz was like the thorn among the roses so had to mk sure tt they didn’t bully him haha!

upper sec! haha gosh talked the most crap to lynz and mags. think i laughed the most there too! haha all the disgusting rubbish abt geylang and mamasan!

yea. i guess wat i regretted was tt i took too long to cut cake and not everyone could join me. and aso felt bad tt i nv stop at the P** table more often. majorly bad. sigh.

yup anyway i really had fun laughin like hyena tt nite. (not tt i normally dun laugh like a hyena lah but i laughed extra tt nite lah!) realli luv my frens, those who helped me decorate. reallie touched tt they offered to help and did such a gd job. realli luv those who came aso, cos i reallie didn’t expect so many to turn up aso. it was so good to see everyone together, even if i was realie reallie exhausted at the end of the nite. ahhh so many other small things here and there tt i cant rem but feel reali glad+loved+appreciated abt. haha mags said it was a great party. haha sorrie to be bhb but i thought so too! haha no lah, actually cos it juz provided entertainment for ppl and allowed them to catch up. esp for like ivan+candice, cindy+rz, sf+angela(this is the most shocking!)

hm so last wk was quite eventful and happening.

main gist of wat happened at work last wk: i screwed up smthn for AN again. sux lah. thanx to xn for listenin to me and advising me abt wat to do. yups and i talked to my immed supervisor and she was pretty encouraging, gave me quite good comments so im like wonderin whether she reallie means it and is honest abt it anot. haha hai. juz hope she rems all the gd stuff when she does my performance appraisal.

anw, yups hot dates are the way the get thru any work day, or work wk for dat matter! haha it juz mks work seem all the more easier, the day passes all the more quickly when u knoe u’ve got smthn on at the end of the day. anw yups, tue’s outin was alrite. quite disappointg reallie haha. thur’s 1 was much betta :grin1 lookin fwd to a repeat :wink1

went for the mfg mktn meetin today. at the beginnin, i tot it was juz a one-off thing. but aft today, found out dat it’s gonna be a big and long and serious committment. haha quite..scary actualli. but okie lah i guess, since i kinda mentally prepared and decided to commit more time to it. i alwayz feel very onz and inspired aft meetins with pauline; i think it’s juz the way she speaks haha. feelin kinda stressed abt the july event when she talked abt it. i think we reallie need the money badly, but i feel dat im nt helpin enuf to get it.

*sigh* the weather is like hw nice lah..sun shining, wind blowing, sunday evenings are the best! best time to go beach, the durian or even the swimmin pool. and wat am i doin? stuck at home facing a pile of notes and textbks instead of being outdoors. bleah. :pout1

and then things started shaking again. at home, im always the one who is the most sensitive to any kind of tremors, dun ask me why. except that when i felt tremors again today, no1 was at home for me to ask! so i thought i was juz being overly sensitive again. but it did give me a headache! den in the lift, i met this malay nenek who asked whether my hse was shaking. dat’s when i knew dat i wasnt gg crazy aft all. during the Nias quake i thought i was gg crazy until i checked with renny and saw ppl downstairs.

so now i feel like pukin leh…crap so weak! haha aftereffects. hate it cos i alwayz feel giddy. there was supposedly another earthquake yesterday mornin and sm ppl felt the tremors according to CNA. but i din feel anythin leh..mebbe cos i wasnt in any building? but supposedly if ur building is on softer sediment or soil, then u would feel the effects more. which kinda applies to me home? esp with all the construction work gg on for the new expressway, im quite sure the soil my block is sittin on is not very stable?! i muz start puttin all my impt docs in one place so if anythin happens, i can juz grab and ruN!

so last fri was kaiyi’s bday celebration. quite fun lah, seein everyone again. and the turnout this time around was a little betta den durin ivan’s bday, so dat meant dat i got to meet more ppl from the class and did a lot more interaction so i was quite happy. hehe kaiyi machiam like gettin married lydat. change clothes twice and her bday cake was 2-tiered! i preferred her second outfit betta..first one abit too spotty haha. the cake looks and tastes good!! hehe even got butterfly on top one yeh..aiya i follow her dress code aso got no extra prize! haha..bugged the hell out of a lot of ppl to follow the dress code aso haha so quite fun to see everyone follow the dress code. man i had to tk 2 buses back home. same like everyone else lah. but it was times like dat when i missed the jx and eugene. haha actualli i miss their cars more lah wahahah. so u get wat i mean rite? hehe

aniweas Sat was spent at the zoo!! so fun man! so long nv go zoo liaoz..i think a lot of singpaporeans onli go to zoo when they were young..den like hundred yrs later IF they hv kids den they will go zoo again. aniweas when i woke up on Sat, it was rainin!! omg perfect weather for sleepin man. shite. den nxt thing i knew, i kan cheong spider liaoz. cos i or rather we, din hv a plan for wet weather!! shite felt so lousy dat i din plan properly. luckily i din do programs for the camp man. reallie felt like kickin myself in the foot for forgettin such an impt aspect. so i had to kan cheong kan cheong call jinda n mag for the wet weather games dat they had for the camp last yr. i stupidly forgot dat i had a copy in my lappie. kept thinkin i onli got the printouts which were not with me. aniweas luckily the rain stopped when we reached the zoo. but it was still quite jiak lat to handle all the noisy 25 kids and mk sure everythin runs well. it was made worse when HY was late cos she was waitin for YT to finish her interview and could onli meet me at the zoo. so left me and karen to handle everythin lor. luckily had the other volunteers like jason who helped out as well.

actualli the prog for the zoo was kinda redudant. dun think everyone reallie kept to it. and the original plan of hvin everyone stick close together din tk place and everyone moved at their own pace. i din reallie interact much or well with the kid i was assigned too. cos he was a very quiet boy! so shy man..and abit like dan xiao lydat..and i was aso abit frazzled from tryin to handle all the details and mkin sure that everyone was alrite.

haha but it was reallie fun to go back and relive my childhood even if i dun realli rem the time i spent at the zoo when i was young. OH! i rem the baby chicks! so i was quite sad dat they were no longer around this time. i was so lookin forward to cradlin them in my hands again :pout1 but i had fun watchin the sea lion show and sm farm show! animals so cute!! hope every1 enjoyed the trip man..at least at the end i got to eat my KFC and Ben & Jerry’s!! woo hoo!! so hungry man..din hv lunch..i wanted to grab every single meal at KFC!! haha. den finally ate B&J aft dat..so pig rite? dublin mudslide in a choc-chip cone! yummy!! shld hv juz gone for a plain cone actualli, and gone for a double scoop instead like Nick’s!! so many flavours there i din knoe wat to choose!! ahhh!! i wanna go back to zoo juz for the ice cream!! :beam1

went back to NY!! felt sooo gd to see the teachers again, even if there were onli 2 left. sadly. and even tho i saw them last aug, i still missed them! and it’s a lot more fun to meet them when u hv 2 other crappy ppl with u – shiuan and ting. haha. di’s presence was sorely missed. but ya it was fun to crap with boo and AT, and fun to see boo and AT suan each other haha. we had lunch in sch and too bad couldnt stay to sit in boo’s class. had to rush off to watch *drumrol*……CONSTANTINE!!

ooh my bloody gosh, keanu is so damn cute!! almost 40 yrs old and still so cute!! and the scene where he was holdin on to the cat to get to hell to check if isabel was in hell. wow wheee!! i wished i was THAT cat!! yes the one he was holding with his hands! the one sittin on his lap!! woo hoo!!! a-ok i betta stop here b4 sm poor underaged kid stumbles upon this. aniweas the movie was sooo B-grade!!! sorrie man as much as i love this guy, the script was pretty whacked up!

wah had free lunch today!! tho i din deserve it and felt reallie guilty abt it. was supposed to meet the lady from the FSC, accompany her to fetch the old folks to the sch for lunch, den fetch them back home. BUT i got the bus direction wrong, so KW and i went the wrong way! and we were late! in the end, we met her str at the same and she went ALONE to pick up the old folks. double paiseh!!

den there was reallie nothin much to do. the old folks sat at their table eatin. so me and KW juz sit and eat aso while the lady had to do back to the FSC to dismiss the pre-sch kids. wah the lunch was great man! had yu sheng, den sm ginseng chicken/buddha jump over the wall kinda stuff, den wu xiang/prawn balls, steamed fish, roasted pig, kong bak pau, steamed prawns, and my craved or-nee!!so happy to eat it!! but i din eat a lot of it leh, paiseh to tk so much and by the time i wanted to tk sm more, the waitress cleared the table liaoz. den got free flow of orange juice aso! actualli got one more dish, but i cant rem wat, cos i onli rem it was a 9 course lunch!!! so shiok rite?! den me and KW juz sat there and talk rubbish cos got nothin to do mah. so slack. well but at least i got to knoe KW a little betta. he’s an extremely nice guy aso, quite gentlemanly, tho crappy at times. he actually served me first and peeled a prawn for me k! dun praypray ah!

wahlau so guilty to juz go for free lunch. and the old folks din give us any trouble at all. aft the lunch, they still very cheerful, sm of them still chatted with us, and thanked us even tho we din do anythin!

missed the bowlin event tho. haha but im glad dat my frens won! so cool! too bad nv see it. and i missed the karaoke session too!! grr but not dat i wld sing lah but still.

u knoe wat was the onli good thing to hv come out of the past 2/3 wks and made my hell wk not so bad? haha u wld nv guess, it’s the Australian Open!

haha ya i mean normally i read and follow lah..but dun realli watch cos i guess i didnt use to hv cable and aft i got cable, i was just too busy. but dunno why this yr suddenly siao onz. i think it was bcos i happened to watch the quarterfinal match betwn Hewitt and Nalbandian. wow killer match man, it took so damn long. and there was a lot of publicity abt Alicia Molik and the other Russian babes as well, so i juz started followin out of curiosity. den the nxt nite, i juz happened to catch again, the semis match bewtn Safin and Federer. wahlau like 4 hrs of amazing action man. they were both fantastic players, and they nv gave up, so when one guy won one set, the other guy would like, fight back the nxt. 4 hrs+ man the match. can u believe the stamina, perseverance n mental strength of these guys? i rem it was a Thursday. 27th Jan. cos it was supposed to be Safin’s 25th bday and by the time the match was over, his bday was over. i was quite impressed by the crowd’s spontaniety, cos juz as the reporter mentioned smthin like, “now it’s no longer ur birthday” the crowd juz started singing the birthday song for him, and he bowed a very courtly bow. i guess, it was the way he answered the qns, in dat very charmin way, his smile and dat look of disbelief on his face when asked how he defeated the world number 1 player, and how the reporter asked whether he wanted a hug, and he agreed, juz all dat and i started supportin this guy.

haha ya lah b4 this i think he’s quite a gd player and quite cute too..but i nv reallie paid much attention..cos so many other gd+cute players as welL!! haha anwieas i missed the other semis betwn hewitt and roddick, which i think was a shame cos i would love to hv seen roddick play and it was another killer match as well.

goin into the finals..i was wonderin who to support. okie lah even tho i leaned towards safin’s side, but i previously alrdy felt dat hewitt was not bad as well. so i was quite disappointed dat Hewitt din reallie put up much of a fight. dunno mebbe it was juz Safin’s day so everythin worked for him. i dun reallie think..Safin is absolutely fantastic or is a million times betta den Hewitt. come on man, currently Hewitt is ranked 3rd and Safin 4th. and if i’m not wrong, both guys hv been at no.1 b4. so reallie, the way hewitt juz fumbled in the finals was quite disappointing, esp since i expected betta of him given dat it was his home ground. he didnt reallie seem to be puttin up much of a fight, and the match was over sooner den i had expected.

oh ya, i ignored the fact dat i had a corp quiz due the nxt day. i juz sat thru the match and prize giving, and watched the charmin safin give his speech hehe. saw his gf aso. hmm not as chio as hewitt’s one leh haha. couple of days later, i heard on the news dat hewitt was like gettin engaged or married to his gf. and i was like, wat? he juz broke up with clijsters like 3 mths ago, nvm the fact dat he has got a new gf so fast, but to get engaged/married so fast? this yr? the yr he and clijsters had planned to get married? so disappointing. haha watever not my biz.

so of course, i had a hao da dang (??) who watched the AO as well. NicN!! haha so almost everyday we were talkin abt the players, the matches, the chio bu and the hunks. obviously cos he lusts aft the female players, like the Russian babes esp Hantuchova, who i muz say has great legs, and Sharapova who is so pretty!!! :yum1 ya and me juz watchin the guys. and talkin abt the entertainment value as well. well obviously he was a little upset dat sharapova was knocked out by the dua jiak williams, and he doesnt like her cos of her lack of entertainment value.

aniwaes, speakin of which, it’s good to hv a fren who’s a TA for the class u are takin!! haha he was aso tellin me abt the quiz cos he’s markin it..hehe i was like askin him abt my marks and all dat..hm betta not say anymore cos he say canot say..not dat any1 will read this since my blog is so not juicy..but im juz bein paranoid..:buck1

kaoz i’m like, feelin damn shitty now. this whole wk nv do any work at all, and i feel so tired now. bleah.

time alwayz passes very fast when u’re hvin fun. i didn’t even felt like goin home!! ahhh dats very bad. esp when i had like an 8.30am TP class the nxt morn. boo. but too bad hv to go home. i wish it was still the hols. ahhh still in holiday mood!! reallie juz felt like stayin out late. ate so much again! ended up at sakae again as usual, and dessert was at the coffee club. but i think i still like TCC best. think amanda is not the onli one who thinks she has put on weight lor. i think i aso hv. was juz talkin to rob and uwe abt exercising, or rather, the lack thereof. must.start.exercising.soon.

had a shitty presentation in the evening at Orchard Hotel. boo. even tho it was a good experience, i juz want to forget this nite. rubbish PR. wth. aniweas the gd thing is dat i saw Y at the busstop in the aftnn on the way home!! haha. he’s so damn cute!! esp when my bus came first, so hv to say bye to be polite, and he answered back with a smile. ahhh he’s so cute when he smiles!! :heart1 hahaha. obviously sean doesn’t think so haha but watever. nobody else thinks so, only me. :tongue1

aniweas tmrw is a damn long day. i feel so shitty juz thinkin abt it. juz been in a bad mood since tues nite. all bcos of the presentation. juz feel damn shitty. and i hate long days. and i feel so guilty abt not doin work but yet feel tired and dun wanna do. sianz….think i wanna go zzz now…
