okie i’m feelin a tad pissy now cos i was desperately tryin to find a pair of pants and top that i can wear. :cuss: those who know me well know that i absolutely abhor wearing pants, and actually so does my sis. but at least she has one pair that she can afford to loan me. now the problem is that i’m f-ing short compared to her, so therein lies the problem cos i only need to wear this pants once. how to alter and not spoil it? in the end, the kiam siap me agreed to fork out $40 if i spoil her pants by altering it. :err1

now let’s hope my heart won’t get broken on Wednesday after going to such great pains. :shiftyeyes: i think it probably will be (broken), but let’s hope for the best and i shall try to be happy. it’s all in the mind.

in other news. oh goddess this is amazing. my previous entry mentioned abt me being attracted to the guy in my office who looks like Prince. right. and i found out today, in the afternoon, after i came back from my client’s place, that i would be working with the Prince-lookalike (let’s call him Prince 2 for now haha) for a job! i can’t remember whether the job is for 1 or 2 weeks. but it’s just funny how i was just thinkin abt him yesterday and bam! today we’ve been assigned to work together. is this fate or is this fate? haha i was darn shocked to hear my senior telling me that Prince 2 and I would be working together. anw all this is just rubbish lah, at the end of it i just hope to get this job done well. heard that the finance head is a bitch, and i’m a little scared of the senior who’s in charge. so really wanna do this well regardless of who i’m working with.

trying to juggle 3 bks at one time now. one is a thrashy fiction book to entertain me aft boring eons at work. one is my stupid theory. shitamama i hate it. last one is a non-fiction self-improvement bk on interpersonal communication. haha let’s see now, considering i hv loads of fiction books to read b4 1 Feb, i gotta finish the current one asap. the stupid theory is due end jan. and my non-fiction one should ideally be completed before i go in for the difficult job with Prince 2 (see above if you’re lost). yes i’m like how conscientious about my work. i wanna do it well. and i even check my office email at home for updates for my current proj. and when my senior said she gotta “see doc 1st”, i asked her, “huh what doc?” i was wondering which document she was referring to when all she meant was that she had to see the doctor 1st!! silly girl.

ok off to my reading. today is a good day cos my current client is quite ok to handle and also of the good news about working with Prince 2! i shall fall asleep with a :tongue1 on my face haha!

haha my fren sent me this. so this means i can go after the IT engine guy who sits beside me at work!! the one whom i don’t dare to disturb cos he’s hard at work everyday! haha. i only talk to him like at the beginning and end of the day or something. he always asks me to join the rest of the dept for lunch, basic courtesy cos we sit side by side what. but i refuse to go for lunch with my dept anymore. (i don’t wanna blog about it, it’s the people part, and not belonging.) i wld rather lunch alone than go with them. luckily i have my sch mates who are also interning here for lunch company. anw as i was saying, as i’ve migrated to the seat beside him this week, he’s been asking me this week to join them for lunch. one of the days when i declined, he said, “again?” man, was i tempted to tell him, “honey if u ask me out for lunch alone, i’ll definitely cancel all plans with my friends and go with you!” :grin1 haha but he can’t replace jason though.

oh yea, another thing: i only realised why i’m so attracted to the other guy in my dept – i think it’s cos he looks like XX let’s call him Prince. (or PC – prince charming! wahaha) anw yea the other guy really reminds me of Prince man. either i really miss prince or they just look darn alike. saw him at the mrt stn after work but i was with jx so couldn’t talk to him. darn!

aniewas skip all the other days first. im juz too overwhelmed now. the world has gone mad today!

first, i sent my lappie to the techies yesterday cos got problem with the coolin sys and i complained abt the batt (which is like a damn old problem). anw, the techie called me back today to explain to me the situation. fan can change but told me dat my batt cant be replaced cos it can last for an hr. i was like, dat is so impossible. and i was tryin to explain my circumstances to him. i said he muz hv tested my lappie when it was in a good mood and asked him to test it again. but he said he would juz put in an order for the batt for me. (ma asked me whether muz pay anot, but i 4got to ask! by right shldnt hv to cos still within warranty mah!) den he said he noticed dat my warranty was gonna end this yr. i was like, ya so wanna faster change b4 my warranty expires! den he was like, okie can, i order batt for u, den u treat me to lunch. i was stunned. i was like, “er okie can!” wat on earth can i say man? and i reallie need my batt! haha.

nvm. den at nite i got in touch with my super nice sponsor abt my bbq this fri, (by sms cos me and YT were worried abt the timing). den surprisingly he still has exams. so juz wished him good luck. den he said he was waiting for this. i was like blur and confused, and thought dat he was happy cos final sem, gonna grad. den he said no, waitin for my wishes. i pengz again.

I love BH!!! if he wasn’t married to Amanda, i would hv grabbed him by now!!! hahaha nah it’s juz coz he helped me solve my explorer problem. so now my IE is workin perfectly fine!! so happy when i finally repaired it can, it was so irritatin the past few days hvin words linked to some search engine and gettin error messages tellin me dat my page cant load.

aniweas the fire drill last wk was C-R-A-P!!! like totally!!! i was on the freakin 15 floor okie, and i had to walk down the stairs all the way to the ground floor. eh i’m not lazy k, not dat i dun want to walk, it’s juz that the stairs were spiral! can u imagine? goin ROUND and ROUND and ROUND for 15 freakin floors!!! walau i was a little dizzy when i reached the ground floor leh. wah can u imagine wat wld happen if there realli was a real fire? my boss said she cfrm will faint, and fall, den will hai a lot of ren.

yar so everybody tk their own sweet time to go downstairs haha. den hv to wait while they tk attendance. machiam like in sch lydat, except dat last time in sch, got time limit lor!! dun meet the time limit kena scoldin! this time nothin at all. and no fake fire in the buildin anywhere haha. my floor the fire warden aso walk slowly. and there was no display of how to use a fire extinguisher leh. so wait at the carpark lor, and my colleague was pointin out the si da tian wang (4 heavenly kings) in the accounts dept to me. ABCD are their initials haha. but er no lor, all CMI one..canot mk it!! i was busy starin at my ang moh guy haha. aiyo wasted leh. coz we were all divided into grps mah, muz stand accordin to which floor u on. den i thought he
would be nearby mah, coz same floor. hai~ turn out he went to find his fren in another grp. he was talkin to this other ang moh guy, who’s cute too! haha hm the other guy kinda young, like around my age, and he reminds me of somebody, like Ashton Kutcher? hm no not Kutcher, but dunno who lah, juz looks familiar. but i nv see him around aniweas. ya so aft dat juz go str to lunch liaoz haha. i was wearin some OP outfit again, and my boss say i look like some character from some long ago cartoon.

anwieas went to watch SUper Size Me. hm abit borin coz of all the facts, machiam like teacher teachin u lydat. but still quite interestin lah, realli quite scary to see juz how bad fast food is to u. and the kids in america! amazing how poor their knowledge abt wat’s healthy and wat’s not is. hm yar and the Coffee Bean breakfast is good! smthin diff. hai but aft the movie shiuan and i analysed wat we ate and er think mine’s not so healthy too? hahah

but aniweas i walked all the way to tanglin!! achievement okie..considerin i too lazy to walk so far. but yar walked till there, wow it’s tanglin mall rite? dunno wat’s the name lah, but it’s damn posh lor. i tot paragon was high class, this is even more high class lor! it’s my new idol liaoz! and Palais Renaissance is super boring. nothin to see one. haha yar anwieas went to the supermkt at tanglin and saw Tony Tan. haha i din realise till later dat there would be bodyguards around. quite cool rite? to juz stand there and try and figure out which guy standin there is a bodyguard and which is not. there! the one at the corner, near the coffee! think he’s the bodyguard? wat abt dat one near the fish! hahaha. yar but anwieas i found my mocha and cafe vienna!!! was so happy!!! been lookin for it for so long can, i even called up cold storage to ask, but the woman was so larny lor, couldn’t even help much. yar so i found it and bought it and there’s a reallie mean rocky road at the cafe outside of the supermkt!! i muz go get it the next time. and we walked all the way back to orchard again. and slacked at subway somewhere opp orchard towers.

hm yar forgot to mention smthin dat scared me. we were outside orchard parade hotel, on the way tanglin, near the busstop outside the hotel, when this guy juz came out of nowhere. he was wearin a tshirt, and carryin one of those plastic material backpack with nylon drawstring thing. and he juz jumped out from behind the billboard at the busstop and said he lost his ex link card and asked for $2 to tk bus. we were both shocked speechless. i wld hv
given my money if i had small change, but i din. so shiuan found her voice first and said she got no money. i said i got no coins, i juz bought somethin and i showed him my plastic bag from the orchard towers supermkt. den we juz said dat a few times and apologised and walked away. reallie, i felt abit bad. wat if he reallie was a genuine case? but all my instincts were screamin Con-man!! reallie lor, how can u juz lose ur card and not ur wallet? and if u lost ur wallet, shudn’t u alrdy report the matter to the police? i mean, if he actualli said he needed money to go police stn, i juz might believe lor. or he could juz ask how to walk to the orchard police station!! yar but i was pretty freaked out. felt so scared leh!! luckily shiuan there or i would hv been cheated of my money!! if i was alone, i think i reallie would hv given all my money.
