Note 3: wah the rain was horribly heavy today lor!! got so drenched even with an umbrella. okie lah i shld hv waited for it to subside, but i reallie wanted to go home. miss my comfy home!! my bag, my shoes, my clothes all wet! but actualli it felt kinda good to be drenched and hv the wind blow so strongly. very cooling leh..quite fun haha. shld hv juz thrown my umbrella away lah huh? think dat would feel veri, liberating?
anwieas BKK was a very interesting experience. first time i go overseas for shopping and free-and-easy instead of tour package.
Fri SQ flight in the mornin!! wah got breakfast aso leh!! din expect it, cos i thought the flight would be too short. but the breakfast was good lor. i ate so much dat i din eat lunch liaoz. Left abt 850 SG time, arrived 12 BKK time. wah but the hotel misplaced our luggage k!! was so worried cos got $$ inside. aiya i knoe u’re thinkin why so stupid put $$ inside, but i aso canot carry all with me mah rite?
anwieas we went shoppin at Siam Square aso. cool stuff there. quite fashionable, similar to SG yet different at the same time. but their sizes!! aiyo their Free Size machiam like S size lydat. go there see the thai girls, 9 out of 10 will be damn skinny can. i mean, okie lah i horizontally challenged dun say lah, but Ma and Mei taller den me and super skinny aso sometimes aso hv to wear L size!! but nvm at least i still got some stuff but not satisfied!! not enuf time to walk some more and buy some more!! aniweas the sch girls there quite ah lian leh. their ah lian fashion – short skirt, heels, belt, earrings and chains lor. but the stuff sold there aso quite retro leh, surprisingly.
Fri nite stopped back MBK Shoppin Centre b4 we went to Patpong. cool place. haha i wanted to watch “thai girl” show!! or more crudely put, “p***y show” dat’s wat they called it. i wanted to watch, but no1 else wanted to, so canot :mad1 i mean, not dat i’m perverted or wat lah, but i think it would be quite an experience lor. aniwaes, along the streets, they hv a lot of discos, and the doors are open, so u can see inside. all the thai girls in bikinis dancing on the bar top. most guys stop to stare, and most guys were approached to go watch the “thai girl” show. but ang mohs are 90% more likely to be targetted. wah so many AMs in Patpong and BKK in general! and some quite cute one leh!! saw abt 3 of them, german? dunno from wat cty lah, they were in the 7-11 in Patpong. and i saw another 3 Scandinavian one. lagi betta ah, Scandinavian, tall, blonde, blue-eyed Vikings. :yum1 yar anwieas saw gays aso, they walk around so freely. lucky them. oh i kinda heard and saw a fight on the road! dunno wat they arguing over aso but reallie shouting damn loudly lor. the locals all stare and walk towards the scene while the tourists all walk in the opposite direction haha. yar went for thai foot massage aso! too bad no time for full body massage tho. reached the hotel past 2? we all juz fell into bed and slept lor.
Sat was spent at Chatuchak Weekend Market!! reallie like a maze, so many stores to see. but felt quite sad cos i walked more den half a day still canot find the bag dat manda wanted. :pout1 i aso couldn’t find my fake watches!! ahd a lot of other things on my list dat i wanted!! :pout1 wah the shops in BKK all no dressing room one. the betta ones hv a cloth or screen in the corner while the rest, u juz try on there lydat, pull over the clothes u’re wearing or smthing. wah bargain like crazy lor.
aft dat, we went to chinatown. hm went too late, all the jewellery shops all closed. nothin much to see except to eat. the grilled prawns are nice! but the shark’s fin and bird nest nothing fantastic lor. quite disappointed with the bird nest. miss the ones dat ah ma used to mk. aniweas Mei had food poisoning! so we had to go back to the hotel.
Sun went to MBK Shoppin Centre for last min shoppin. hm actualli not i last min shop but everyone else lah. i juz stand there, stone and help hold stuff like clothes hanger lydat. SQ flight back aso got dinner!! haha and i drank vodka lemonade!! *yum* think the food reallie is quite good now, tho the desserts can be improved. wah but the movies damn shiok. i re-watched Shrek 2, watched 13 Goin On 30 even tho it’s not out here yet, Laws of Attraction. and so many more to watch but no time!!! too bad they dun hv The Bourne Supremacy. aniwaes Laws of Attraction was damn boring. but 13 Goin on 30 is bloody entertaining. i was laughin so much everyone was wonderin wat’s so funny. it’s reallie veri cute, and jennifer garner is so cool! i loved all her clothes and accessories in the show!! but the ending sux.
aniwaes walk so much but i reallie din see anythin dat i liked lor. think i too fussy? din get the stuff on my shoppin list at all lor, so quite disappointed :sad1 and aso not enuf time to finish walkin all the shoppin places. regretted not buyin the Von Dutch bag. wasted. nvm think i muz go there again and do more shoppin!!!
